To ask the Postmaster General, whether the rate per word for cable messages between England and Australasia viâ the Pacific has yet been fixed; and, if so, whether he has any objection to giving the information.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) I am informed by the Pacific Cable Board that they have fixed the rate per word between England and Australasia at 3s.
