§ MR. JOHN WILSON (Durham, Mid)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether the Committee appointed to inquire into the differences alleged to exist between masters and matrons of English workhouses on the one hand, and the nursing staffs on the other, is still pursuing its investigations; has the inquiry concluded; and, if so, what is the result; if not concluded, can he say when it is likely to be brought to a close.
