HC Deb 29 May 1902 vol 108 cc895-6
MR. O'SHEE (Waterford, W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, whether he will state what is the present state of the new scheme under the Labourers Acts prepared by the Dungarvan Rural District Council, and what is the cause of the delay in proceeding with the same.

(Answer.) It was not until the 3rd instant that the Local Government Board received from the Council the consent to the acquisition of certain sites. A Provisional Order was executed yesterday authorising the erection of fifty-five cottages, and the acquisition of twenty-one additional allotments for cottages already erected.—(Irish Office.)
