§ DR. AMBROSE (Mayo, W.)To ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether he will state the cause of the delay in the erection of the new Post Office at Castlebar, County Mayo; and, having regard 893 to the fact that promises were given last year and in 1900 that the building would be proceeded with immediately, can he state when it is proposed to commence the building operations.
(Answer.) It was not found possible to begin the erection of the new office at Castlebar last year, but I anticipate that a commencement will be made with the work this summer.—(Post Office.)
