HC Deb 28 May 1902 vol 108 c778
MR. WEIR

To ask the Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that pensioners who are required to attend at the Government Office, Darjeeling, at 11 a.m. to receive their pension money are kept waiting until 5 p.m. before they are paid; and will he have some inquiry made into the matter.

(Answer.) This matter is one as to which any complaints should be addressed to the local authorities. I do not propose to make any inquiry on the subject.—(India Office.)
