To ask the Lord Advocate if he will state whether, in the contract for the construction of roads between Cromore and Gravir, Island of Lewis, any date has been fixed for their completion; and will he say what progress has been made in the construction of these roads.

(Answer.) The Congested Districts Board have not yet been informed that the County Road Board have entered into any contract, nor that any progress has been made in the construction of these roads, for which the Congested Districts Board offered a grant of £2,700 on the 10th June, 1901.—(Scottish Office.)
