§ MR. ALFRED DAVIES (Carmarthen Boroughs)To ask the First Commissioner of Works whether arrangements can be made under which retired civil servants will be granted the privilege of purchasing tickets which have been issued to the Civil Service Departments for the purpose of affording members of the Civil Service opportunities for witnessing the Coronation procession.
(Answer.) I have no control over the distribution of the tickets issued to the Civil Service Departments; but no provision can, I fear, be made for retired civil servants independently of what may be afforded them by the Departments in which they served.—(Office of Works.)
