§ MR. WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if he will state when the prize money in connection with the Taku bombardment and capture of four Chinese destroyers will be distributed; and how many officers and men will be entitled to share in the distribution.
(Answer.) I am advised that no prize money was, in fact, earned in connection with the operations referred to in the hon. Member's Question, and therefore the question of a distribution does not arise.—(Admiralty.)
