§ MR. P. A. M'HUGH (Leitrim, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that inconvenience has resulted from the passing of the Local Government (Ireland) Act, 1898, in regard to the rating powers of municipal bodies constituted under local 192 Acts; and whether he will consider the advisability of introducing at an early date a general measure dealing with local taxation in Ireland.
