§ LORD EDMOND FITZMAURICE (Wiltshire, Cricklade)To ask the Vice-President of the Committee of Council on Education whether he will explain why Schedule VII. (Rules for Building), in the table of contents of the Code of Regulations for day schools, which 178 is stated to be found on page 56, has been omitted; and if such omission is accidental, or has been decided upon by the Education Office.
(Answer.) I answered this Question on 8th May last as follows:—" It was considered by the Board of Education that building regulations did not properly form part of the Code, and such regulations will be issued shortly as a separate Paper."—(Board of Education.)
