HC Deb 12 May 1902 vol 107 cc1344-5
MR. LUNDON

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state on what grounds John M'Namara, of Ballybrood, County Limerick, No. 1 Rural District Council, although his application for a second plot under the Labourers Acts was favourably entertained before the sworn inquiry on such cases with the consent of the owner, was afterwards sot aside by the inspector; and, if the cause of failure be rectified, will he recommend that the application should be reconsidered at a future date.

(Answer.) The inspector was unable to recommend the application of this man, as his existing plot was in a dirty and neglected condition. If these objections are removed, and the application renewed at a future date, it will be reconsidered.—(Irish Office.)
