HC Deb 12 May 1902 vol 107 c1346
MR. MCCRAE (Edinburgh, E.)

To ask the financial Secretary to the War Office, seeing that the Cape cyclists, who have been paid at the rate of 5s. per day, are being allowed to retain their cycles on the expiry of their term of service, whether the Scottish cyclists, who are being paid at the rate of Is. 3d. per day, will be granted a like privilege.

(Answer.) The arrangement mentioned was local only, and did not apply to cyclists enlisted for service in this country.—(War Office.)
