DAVID THOMAS (Merthyr Tydvil)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that the House Committee on Commerce at Washington have begun hearings on the plan of creating a new Department of the Government, presided over by a Cabinet officer, to be known as the Department of Commerce and Labour; and if he will take steps to furnish Members desiring them with copies of the evidence given before the Committee, and of the Report of the Committee.
