HICKS BEACH,) Bristol, W.I have no knowledge of the precise terms of Lord Farnham's will, but if arrears of rents on his estate were bequeathed as stated in the question, the valuation of them would, no doubt, be made in the usual way, according to the probabilities of their realisation, and death duties would be payable on the amount.
