WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that for some time past there has been a plague of rats in the famine-stricken districts of British Gujerat; will he state whether the authorities in India have taken any steps to exterminate the vermin; and, if not, will he order an inquiry into the matter.
