HC Deb 21 March 1902 vol 105 c726
MR. LOUGH (Islington, W.)

In regard to the Order of the Day relating to the London Water Bill, is there any objection to leaving it over till Monday?

THE FIRST LORD OF the TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

The resolution in reference to the London Water Bill has been postponed in order to give uninterrupted time to the discussion of the motion of censure, but in the interests of all concerned it is desirable that it should be disposed of without further delay. I do not think it is contrary to the understanding that it should be taken today, and I may point out that the area of discussion is extremely restricted, and I cannot think that any serious slice of time will be taken away from hon. and gallant Gentlemen who wish to discuss the business which stands second on the Paper.
