FARRELLI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether the Post Office authorities have received any complaints as to delays of mails, especially cross-channel mails, in Longford recently; has any third mail arrival by train in Longford been arranged for recently; and can he explain why letters arriving from England and Scotland which should be delivered at 10.0 a.m. are only received about 9.30 p.m. by the persons to whom they are addressed.
