§ MR. J. P. FARRELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has yet received a copy of the report of Major Fair on the inquiry into the proposal to dissolve the poor law union of Granard; and, if so, will he lay a copy of the report upon the Table of the House.
§ MR. WYNDHAMI have received the Inspector's report. It would be contrary to the invariable practice to lay these reports, which are of a confidential character, on the Table of the House. No 48 decision will be taken until I have had an opportunity of conferring with the Vice-President of the Local Government Board.
