HC Deb 13 March 1902 vol 104 cc1289-90
Mr. FLYNN

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he has received a copy of a Resolution from the Cork Butter Merchants Association pointing out the great difficulty under which butter producers under the dairy system labour, and that any reduction of the standard of water in cured or salt butter under 18 per cent. would affect most injuriously an important and extensive Irish industry; and whether attention will be paid to these representations when the standard is about being fixed.

MR. HANBURY

The reply to both Questions is—Yes.
