HC Deb 12 March 1902 vol 104 cc1203-4
THE FIRST LORD OF THE TREASURY (Mr. A. J. BALFOUR,) Manchester, E.

In moving that the House do now adjourn, I may perhaps be permitted to remind the House of an arrangement come to with regard to the discussion on the Report of Supply, including the Vote on Account, tomorrow. There was nothing said as to whether it would conclude before twelve o'clock or not. I believe that the general feeling will probably be in favour of concluding all the outstanding work in connection with the Report of Supply before midnight; but I cannot now ask for an assurance on the matter; and I, therefore, give notice that I will move to suspend the twelve o'clock rule tomorrow. Of course, if a satisfactory arrangement can be made in the meantime, that Motion will not be made.

MR. FLYNN (Cork County, N.)

The Report must be taken at a reasonably early hour.

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

The first business.

Adjourned at twenty minutes before six o'clock.
