§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE (Mr. GERALD BALFOUR, Leeds, Central)The Board of Trade have no 1015 official information which would enable me to give the figures asked for, and an inquiry such as is suggested would involve much time and labour, and would probably not yield satisfactory results. If, however, the hon. Member will communicate with the Board of Trade, they will endeavour to see how it is possible to institute an inquiry of more limited scope which may perhaps serve the purpose which he has in view.
