HC Deb 04 March 1902 vol 104 c358
MR. RUTHE RFORD (Lancashire, Darwen)

I beg to ask the First Commissioner of Works if he will make arrangements whereby a sample of the atmosphere of the House during its sitting could be taken for the purpose of analysis and report thereon.

THE FIRST COMMISSIONER OF WORKS (Mr. AKERS-DOUGLAS,) Kent, St. Augustine's

I have given directions that this shall be done.

DR. FARQUHARSON

Will the Government re-appoint the Committee of the House which formerly inquired into the drainage and sanitary arrangements of the House generally?

MR. AKERS-DOUGLAS

The Committee which last session inquired into the accommodation provided for hon. Members has recommended its own re-appointment, and this matter could be referred to that body.

CAPTAIN DONELAN (Cork Co., E.)

Will the right hon. Gentleman take steps to have a sample of the atmosphere placed in the tea-room?
