§ MR. DILLON (Mayo, E.)I beg to ask the Secretary for War whether he has any further information to give of the attack on Von Donop's force; and whether his attention has been directed to the fact that several of the wounded officers have been in hospital some time. Can he also explain the long delay in giving particulars of that affair.
§ MR. BRODRICKThe distance was very considerable, and unfortunately all the force was broken up. A considerable number of men were killed and wounded, and others were taken prisoners. I do not know whether the hon. Gentleman has seen the telegram which I sent to the Press three or four hours ago, and which gave such details as have reached Lord Kitchener from the commanding officer, and I cannot add anything to that information.
