HC Deb 25 June 1902 vol 110 c6
MR. CHARLES MCARTHUR (Liverpool, Exchange)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the Board of Customs have come to a decision in the case of the Customs boatmen, from whom they received a deputation in February last; and, if so, whether he will state the nature of that decision with respect to the various points submitted.

(Answer.) The Board of Customs are giving this subject their careful consideration, but they have not yet been able to arrive at a decision with respect to the various points submitted to them by the deputation, which are closely connected with other general questions affecting the whole of the Waterguard Department.—(Treasury.)
