§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary of State for India, in view of the fact that the Eastern Bengal Railway became vested in the Secretary of State for India in July, 1884, and that the steamers in use at Sara Ghat Ferry are under the control of the railway will he consider the expediency of superseding, the present fifty year old steamers by vessels of modern type.
