§ Mr. DILLONI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in view of the recent decisions in the King's Bench, he will introduce into the Local Government Amendment Act a clause providing for the recoupment to Boards of Guardians in Ireland of one-half the salaries of qualified midwives.
§ MR. WYNDHAMI cannot at present give an undertaking that the Government will introduce into the Bill a provision of this character. The suggestion, however, is under consideration.
