Mr. TATTON EGEUTONreported from the Committee on Group 9 of Railway Bills; That the parties opposing the Medway and Thames Canal Bill [Lords] had stated that the evidence of Mr. Charles Tuff, High Street, Rochester, and Mr. Arthur Woodhams, Fairlawn, Rochester, 607 was essential to their case; and, it having been proved that their attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House, he had been instructed to move that the said Mr. Charles Tuff and Mr. Arthur Woodhams do attend the said Committee on Monday next, at half-past Eleven of the clock.
