To ask the Lord Advocate if the Secretary for Scotland will consider the expediency of introducing legislation such as will admit of the Conscience Clause in the Vaccination Act of 1898 being extended to Scotland.

(Answer.) The Secretary for Scotland sees no reason for introducing legislation of the kind suggested by the hon. Member, and cannot undertake to do so.—(Scottish Office.)
