HC Deb 10 June 1902 vol 109 c229
Mr. TATTON EGERTON

reported from the Committee on Group 9 of Railway Bills: That the parties opposing the Medway and Thames Canal Bill [Lords] had stated that the evidence of Mr. Thomas Lake Aveling, of Boley Hill House, Rochester, and Mr. H. Shoosmith, of Erith Shipway, Erith, Kent, was essential to their case; and it having been proved that their attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House, he had been instructed to move that the said Mr. Thomas Lake Aveling, and Mr. H. Shoosmith, do attend the said Committee on Monday, 16th June, at half-past Eleven of the clock.

Ordered, that Mr. Thomas Lake Aveling and Mr. H. Shoosmith do attend the Committee on Group 9 of Railway Bills on Monday, 16th June, at half-past Eleven of the clock.
