§ CAPTAIN NORTON (Newington, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty, if he can say whether a reduction of hands at the Royal Naval Victualling Yard, Deptford, within the next few weeks, is in contemplation; and, if so, whether, seeing that a number of men are now working overtime, he will consider the advisability of discontinuing overtime and of keeping extra men employed in order not to add to the number of men in the district already unemployed.
