MR. HOZIER (Lanark, S.)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether any special allowance will be granted to Militia officers to meet the extra mess and other expenses to which they will be put in the event of their regiments being moved from their training grounds in the first instance to Aldershot for the Royal Review, and subsequently to London for the Coronation.

(Answer.) The Regulations do not admit of any special allowances other than those for conveyance and travelling.—(War Office.)
