HC Deb 04 June 1902 vol 108 cc1384-5
MR. WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)

To ask the Lord Advocate if the Congested Districts Board will make inquiries with a view to ascertain whether the efforts which have been made by the Board to encourage and improve the breed of poultry in the Island of Lewis have resulted in an increased number of eggs and poultry being sent to market.

(Answer.) The Congested Districts Board cannot at present give a definite reply to the point referred to by the hon. Member, but hope to be able to deal with it in their next Annual Report.—(Scottish Office.)
