HC Deb 30 July 1902 vol 112 c122
MR. GEORGE WHITE (Norfolk, N.W.)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether, having regard to the population and character of the industry of the district, he is now prepared to recommend that a postal telegraph office be open at Walsoken.

(Answered by Mr. Austen Chamberlain.) The Postmaster General has already authorised an extension of the telegraph to New Walsoken, to be carried out in connection with a guaranteed extension to West Walton.
