§ MR. J. P. FARRELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland can he state the cause of delay in the sixth Labourers' Act scheme in Longford Union; and, seeing that the arbitration inquiry is not being held, although all the legal formulas have been long since complied with, will he direct that the remaining stages be no longer delayed.
§ MR. WYNDHAMIt is not the fact that the legal formulae have long since been complied with. New plans for the building of the cottages have been adopted by the District Council, and until copies of these have been supplied to the Local Government Board the loan cannot be sanctioned. The Board is also awaiting the receipt of necessary maps from the Council before directing the arbitration inquiry to be held.
