§ MR. GILHOOLYI beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that inconvenience to the buyers and sellers of cattle was experienced at the fair held at Bantry, County Cork, on 16th instant, through the failure of the Cork, Bandon, and South Coast Railway Company to provide a sufficient supply of wagons; and whether he will take steps to prevent the recurrence of this inconvenience.
§ MR. GERALD BALFOURNo complaint in this matter has been made to the Board of Trade, and I have no information as to the circumstances referred to. If particulars are supplied to the Board I will cause a communication thereon to be addressed to the railway company concerned, but the matter is not one in regard to which the Board have any compulsory powers.
