§ MR. BOLANDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, having regard to the fact that the question of what can be done to improve the position of the Royal Hibernian Academy is now engaging the attention of the Government, whether the Government is in communication with the corporate body of the Royal Hibernian Academy, and is in full possession of its stated claims to be placed on a footing similar to that conceded to the Royal Scottish Academy in the interests of living and contemporary art culture in Scotland.
