HC Deb 22 July 1902 vol 111 c899
MR. LOUIS SINCLAIR (Essex, Romford)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether, seeing that the Second Essex Regiment which is now in South Africa has been on foreign service for twenty years, he will arrange that the regiment is brought home at the earliest opportunity.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Brodrick.) The roster of units for home is at present being considered, and the long foreign service of this unit will not be lost sight of.
