MR. FIELD

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will consider the advisability of introducing a Bill this Session to assimilate the Law regarding The Infectious Disease (Notification) Act, 1869, and The Infectious Disease (Prevention) Act, 1890, in Ireland and Great Britain, so as to make notification compulsory by urban or rural sanitary authorities in Ireland.

(Answered by the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland).A Bill has been drafted on the lines suggested by the Question. I am prepared to bring it in, but could not undertake to find time for any but the briefest discussion.
