HC Deb 16 July 1902 vol 111 cc359-60
MR. WEIR

To ask the Secretary of State for India if he will consider the desirability of suggesting to the State Railway Company, which runs in connection with the Sara Ghat Ferry and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Company, the necessity for employing clerks who are competent to calculate the rates, so that the consignees of goods at Darjeeling may not be overcharged.

(Answered by the Secretary of State for India.) The matter is one as to which any complaints should be addressed to the local authorities.
