KENNEDY (Westmeath, N.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the Return relating to maintenance of roads in Ireland, ordered on the 24th April last, has not yet been presented; and whether he can state the cause of this delay, and when the Return will be presented.
(Answer.) There has been no avoidable delay in the preparation of this Return, which is now in a forward condition, and will, it is hoped, be ready for presentation before the end of the month.—(Irish Office.)
