§ MR. HARMSWORTHI beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is aware that, on Tuesday 17th June, a Reserve man, working under an officer on board H. M. S. "Resolution," was kicked in a vital part, the injury producing unconsciousness, and that the injured man is now in hospital, will he say whether any previous instance of ill-treatment of men under the orders of the same officer has occurred; and, seeing that two men are at the present time undergoing two years imprisonment as a punishment for striking this officer, can he state what punishment, if any, has been inflicted upon the officer concerned.
