§ MR. LOUGHI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether the Minutes of Evidence taken by the Joint Committee of the London Water Bill, ordered by this House to be printed on the 17th June, will be distributed before the Committee stage of the Bill is taken.
§ THE PRESIDENT of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. WALTER LONG,) Bristol, S.I understand that the Minutes of evidence will be delivered on Wednesday of next week, but, as I stated in reply to a previous Question on the subject, I cannot undertake to defer the Committee stage of the Bill until the evidence has been distributed.
