§ MR. O'DOWD (Sligo, S.)beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will state what facilities, if any, will be afforded by the Foreign Office to John M'Guinne, a native of Sligo and a British subject, in the prosecution of his claim against the Government of Honduras for false imprisonment and confiscation of his property.

Gentleman is aware, we have not been able to support M'Guinne's claim to the full amount which he has put forward, but the steps which His Majesty's Government have taken in the matter are described in my letter to the hon. Member of the 13th of May. Pending their result no further action can be taken.
