HC Deb 31 January 1902 vol 102 c27
MR. CULLINAN (Tipperary, S.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that on the opening day of the Autumn (1901) Military manœuvres in the neighbourhood of Ballypooreen, in the county of Tipperary, ball cartridge was used; and whether any persons were injured on the occasion.

LORD STANLEY

Nothing is known at the War Office of the matters alluded to.

MR. CULLINAN

Has the noble Lord inquired?

LORD STANLEY

If the hon. Member's constituents complain to the General Officer commanding in Ireland of anything that happened, he is perfectly competent to deal in the matter.
