HC Deb 31 January 1902 vol 102 c35
MR. NANNETTI

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that under the new Boundaries Bill the Constabulary have been removed from the added area in Dublin; whether there is any reason for retaining the Constabulary in the Glasnevin and Finglas districts which are within one mile of each other; and whether he will take steps to have the eleven men in this district reduced in number by removal or otherwise.

MR. WYNDHAM

It is necessary, I am advised, to retain the police at Finglas; but the question whether the sub-district of Glasnevin, under the altered conditions, cannot be policed from Finglas is now engaging the consideration of the Constabulary authorities.
