HC Deb 24 January 1902 vol 101 c792
MR. J. P. FARRELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state when the Local Government Board intend to issue their Provisional Order for the erection of the labourers' cottages in Longford Union inquired into recently; and, with a view to affording the guardians a chance to sell these plots to the labourers in the spring, will he request the Local Government Board to expedite the proceedings.

MR. WYNDHAM

The draft of the Provisional Order was sent to the Rural District Council on the 17th instant. There will be no avoidable delay on the part of the Board in expediting the proceedings.

MR. J. P. FARRELL

That promise has been made over and over again.
