§ MR. KEARLEY (Devonport)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether the Admiralty have under consideration, and have arrived at any decision on, the question of awards to those warrant officers who took part in the recent operations in China.
§ THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. ARNOLD-FORSTER, Belfast, W.)Five warrant officers were gazetted for service in China. One of these, who had also previously distinguished himself in South Africa, has been decorated with the Conspicuous Service Cross. Another has been promoted to chief carpenter. The 665 services of the remaining three have been favourably noted.
