HC Deb 21 January 1902 vol 101 c459
EARL PERCY (Kensington, S.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India, whether telegraphic communication has yet been established between Quetta, Nushki, and Kuh Malek Siah; and whether it is intended to sanction the construction of a railway in that quarter.

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR INDIA (LORD G. HAMILTON,) Middlesex, Ealing

There is now telegraphic communication from Quetta to Nushki. The extension of the railway system in Baluchistan is now under consideration, but I am not in a position at present to make any definite statement on the subject.
