MR. FERENCHI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that grants have been promised by the Irish Board of Agriculture to the Kilmore and Slade piers; and if he can state whether the grants have been already made, and when the work of repairs and improvement will commence.
§ MR. WYNDHAMNo contribution has been promised in the case of Slade pier. The Department has undertaken to make a grant towards the improvement of Kilmore pier. The scheme proposed by the County Council is now being considered.
