§ LORD HUGH CECIL (Greenwich)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether the Government will assent to the Return relating to Bills committed to a Standing Committee which appears on the Paper; also whether he will give in the Return the number of days on which these Bills were discussed in Committee.
§ MR. A. J. BALFOURAs far as the Government are concerned we have, of course, not the slightest objection to such a Return as my noble friend proposes. But as he has altered the form of his proposed Return I should like to consider whether there is any practical difficulty.
